There Buffaloo is, running around the dog park. He is tussling around with a small pack of dogs, and they all seem to be having a grand ol' time.
Slowly, Buffaloo pulls away, distancing himself from the pack. He moseys, insofar as a dog can mosey, over to the other end. He works his way up the grassy knoll. At least, halfway up the grassy knoll, literally halfway up a steep incline. Because he likes a challenge.
Halfway up the slope, he circles around, aligning his body with earth's magnetic field, and starts doing his business.
It was as he...aligned himself that the pack of dogs he'd been running with before noticed his absence. Seeing him across the park, the began running towards him. Here is a gameplan of how this went down, followed by what I assume is how sportcasters discuss these sorts of events (I have named the two people talking "Sportscaster" and "Announcer." Because I know sports!).
Sportscaster: Buffaloo is circling around, looking for an opening.
Announcer: That's right, and it looks like he has it, but he'll have to act quick. The defense looks to be blitzing.
SC: Verily! But they seem to be getting diverting by the offensive line [Buffaloo makes certain smells which can only be described as "offensive". -Editor]. As long as he stays in the pocket, he should be fine.
Announcer: Absotively! But forsooth-a terrier appears to have broken through!
SC: Indeedily, and that shalt spell trouble for Buffaloo forthwith. His other defenses are disequipped!
Announcer: What a hit! You know that had to hurt!
SC: Buffaloo is down-but wait, he's getting up. He's fine, but he looks confused. That might impact his game today, we'll have to see.
Announcer: Shock and awe! Git r' done!!
Yes, most of the dogs broke as they approached, turning to either side and allowing Buffaloo to, if I may be direct and non-euphemistic, poop. One little terrier, however, did not. I might chalk this up to poor braking/steering, it honestly seemed a little more...intentional. He went barreling into a poop-squatting Buffaloo full speed, knocking my intrepid puppy over.
Of course, this caused Buffaloo to experience a measure of...let us say consternation. He recovered about an hour later and "finished the job." If you were wondering.
